I wonder did the same apply the other way as I was presuming that Anne Conboy was RC yet she married Farnworth who was COI.

No other good leads that I can see.

Beside the spelling variations I think Patrick's occupation of coachman means he would be transient at times which may make it tricky to track his whereabouts.

Anne Conboy was of full age when she married  and even if she was a RC she didn't need permission from her father to get marriedand I don't think a COI church would have objected.  Perhaps they just assumed she was COI too or didn't ask what her religion was.    Haven't found them on a Census record either!

Don't know who the witnesses were.

My Gt  Grandmother Bridget Josephine Conboy, c.1858 Roscommon, Ireland.  Died somewhen after 1927 when she was the informant of her husband, Michael Brady's death at 25 Charlemont Street Dublin. (A Labour)

Marriage: 7 July 1872. Catholic Chapel of Rathmines. Co. Dublin
To Michael Patrick BRADY .  Michael was of ‘Minor age’.  He and his father Daniel both recorded as Gardeners. No Addresses, just Rathmines. 

Brigid was of ‘Minor Age’ and her father was Patrick Conboy, a Coachman.  Brigid signed with an ‘x’.
Witns: Michael Brady and Eleonora McDermott
The Marriage Parish records revealed Bridget Conboy’s mother's name : Marie Staford.


Anne Conboy was a sponsor to one of Bridget and Michael's 18 children in 1886

Below is the marriage of Anne Conboy and I'm assuming its the same one!

1875  Anne Conboy spinster of Full age of 32 Belgrave Rd 
Married  Thomas Farnsworth, bachelor, Coal Hewer of 29 Charlmont St
at the Church of Ireland in the Parish of St. Peter in the City of Dublin.
Thomas Farnsworth signed his name as JOSEPH  FARNSWORTH!
Anne Conboy’s father was Patrick Conboy, a Coachman.
Thomas/Joseph’s father was Thomas Farnsworth a Coal Hewer like his son.
Emily Whitton (Witness for Husband)  Kate Mackey (Witness for Wife)
