Today I looked at Glasgow valuation rolls then checked a marriage certificate
Found that Maurice Bloch of 39 Newark Drive witnessed his sisters marriage 1923
His mother Leah Mrs Bloch was on VR at that address from 1920-1930

Before that she was at Craigmiller road Glasgow in 1915

 eldest son Elias Bloch b Dundee
was a lodger in 1911 at
 49 Craigmiller Road

With a Hebrew minister Marcus and Milly KATZ

17 Craigmiller Road is the address given on
 Maurice Bloch s naturalization
document 1910

I got a big surprise to see that that document was signed by the right honerable Winsto Lenard Spencer CHURCHILL

I think the Katz family may be related somehow .we are only linked by marriage but my mum's DNA is showing as matching a couple of people with Fleissing on their trees...closed !

& Another lodger Soloman Priestman traveller jeweller b Russia

 VR 1915 + 1920 Marcus KATZ at 65 Sinclair St

Fanny Milly Fleissing  KATZ left probate to Maurice Bloch wine merchant
Fred Nettles .furrier
and Harris SUNSHINE .tailor of 399Argyll street
Maybe one is husband of her daughter Sarah.
