I did say that ....but reading the census for 1911 again  now, I would say no only  because John Mulroy brother to Margaret Mulroy ( my great grandmother) did marry a Margaret Fahy but her birthplace was County Mayo not Galway. so confusing myself too! :-[
but also I made a little error my great grandmother wasn't born in Ireland but Birkenhead in Cheshire. in 1870 sorry everyone!
Going for a lie down!

Hi Mags

Yup have a lie down before you even think of approaching Irish records !

Take your time and look back over all your paperwork and make sure that you have everything correct.

To be honest, the info that you appear to have at the moment is not enough to start looking for your ancestors in Ireland.

When you have things in place, look into getting the Pennsylvania marriage cert or at least cheking on the American boards will it have any of the info that I already stated.

Next, you don't appear to have the other marriage cert ie the other Fahy / Mulroy one from England.

If this Mulroy female and male ARE actually siblings them hopefully the English marriage cert will give some leads.

Anyway, get back to us when you have trawled the US and England for more info.
