A long shot but is this a hotel at St Moritz, Switzerland?

I agree, does look a bit like that, but I think it would be in the UK somewhere as most of this set appear to be.

My first thought was Scotland.

I agree Ruskie, the white building on the photo is extremely long,I can't work out what it is, could be a hotel, or a factory.

Preliminary thoughts   are that it  could be Portmierion in North Wales.

The Italianate village?  But will go back and study  it in greater detail now.
