I am trying to find out if a great uncle of mine David Wilkes born dudley 1872 was in Netley hospital between 1891 and 1901. David was a soilder in 1891 dorset but heard he was injured Hope someone can help x
Haigh, Howden,Stafford, Welburn from Howden and Bubwith areas,
Brook from Worcestershire
Cusworth from Leeds

FindMyPast have four pages on a suitable candidate who served in the 2nd Battalion North Staffordshire Regiment from January to June 1891. Being discharged 'not likely to make an efficient soldier'.
Looking at the census most of the men were born in Staffordshire. So it is very likely to be him. His father was also David. living at 59 Stafford St, Dudley
