Just start about 2 years before the eldest child and then start trawling.

It's the only thing to do ~ fingers crossed you find them.

Anyone searching the name Colreavy in Longford should know that it was anglicized to Gray in many cases during the 1800s. My great grandmother was Anne Gray O'Reilly. Her parents were Matthew Gray and Margaret Smith. In some of the records the surname is given as "Gray or Colreavy."
