Richard was born in 1816 because he was Bapt. 1823 and it said he was 7.

I have not found him in 1841.When I first saw it I thought could he be with his sister Elizabeth but she was born a year before him so I wouldn't think they would have her 5 yrs younger.

He as a brother Thomas and Thomas's wife is Mary they were married in 1832 and were living in Aston in 1841.

Thomas and Mary's daughter Cicely was born in Aston in 1839 so they were there and Richard the right father.

This is just a long shot.
There is an Elizabeth Mansell 1871 in Hampshire widow aged 59 born Winchcombe RG/10 1126/58/25.1881 Sussex RG11/1067/101/9.1891 RG12/795/87/11.1901 Sussex RG/13/913/??/12.

William was born in Pewsey 1864.Theres a Richard death in Pewsey 1863.her daughter Mary Ann born abt 1857 Wales married a Thomas Stoner.Marriage 14/10/1876 Sussex father Richard Mansell  cant see if hes dead no image

Yes they look like your Elizabeth.
I can't see them in 1861 even looking for any Mary Ann with parents Richard & Elizabeth.

Hi Jim.

I posted on Wiltshire site this morning for a burial Richard Mansell1863 Pewsey.Trish came back with 18/10/1863 Wiltshire aged 47 birth c1816.

Its the right age.Need to find William James Mansell 1864 Pewsey Bapt. see if father is Richard.
