surprise photo clean up if possible of great grandfather Thomas
« on: Thursday 16 July 15 17:09 BST (UK) »
Hi,

I came across this old photo of great grandfather Thomas, I have no idea when it was taken or which army unit he belonged too, that's for another day, I would be deeply obliged if some kind soul could clean and restore this photo, thank you in advance

fantastic my friend, so over the moon with this, huge big thank you for taking the time out  to clean and restore, next port of call, is to find out when it was taken and in which unit Thomas belonged to, it was taken at the Belgaun studios

I am not a restorer by any means, I have had several done here in the past for which I am grateful  and I dabble a little on my own. I had a go at this, it may be a bit better than your original but not a lot. The original isn't very sharp (don't know the technical term for it).
