May Hazelhurst burial site
« on: Saturday 18 July 15 21:46 BST (UK) »
Hi guys,

I'm looking for the burial place of my mum's nan. She knows she is buried in rake lane cemetery in Wallasey. Any idea where I can find out this information, or if anyone can find out for me???

Thanks in advance.

Sorry a date might be helpful, it was around 1976-1978 she can't remember the exact year. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Was May her first name? The only death I can see is this one, which is far too early.

Is this the correct death? See spelling of surname

May Hazlehurst aged 76 born 10.3.1902 death registered June 1978  Birkenhead Vol: 37 Page 0678

Was she definitely buried - not cremated?

Now that Carol has found the date of her death, it might be worth contacting Wirral council bereavement department and asking if they have a record of her burial.

Hi,

I don't know what their "small charge" is, but it might be worth contacting them to see if they can help,
