Henry Thomas Best !!!!

Hi, l am hoping someone can help me l am researching a family for a friend and doing really well until Henry Thomas Best, born 1859 Islington to William Best (organ Builder) and Elizabeth l have a marriage for him to Emma Smith ct 1884 and he is a Furrier and his father is an Organ Builder (1881 shows him as a furrier) and then it goes wrong, any Henry l find married to Emma has wrong birth, birthplace and occupation but Henry married to Emily right age, right birth place and occupation , l have looked for marriage to Emily but Henry' father is not William or wrong occupation.
William emigrated to Canada in 1883 with his 3 younger children but on the passenger list a Henry is travelling with Elizabeth and the 3 children he is age 24 (abt1859) but ag lab l assumed he came back and married Emma as l cannot find a Henry Thomas in Canada to match him.
Please can someone help as l am going round in circles and maybe a new set of eyes can see where l am going wrong.

Best to start by finding the correct marriage to Emma. Then work back from there, using the fathers name and occupations from that marriage.
You may find the birth you have identified is not the right one.

Could you say who is the direct ancestor of your friend - which child of Henry Thomas Best?

Hi Lizdb, l thought l did have the right marriage as the occupations and names of both Henry and his father where correct and l could not find any other that came near.

Hi chempat, l work in a charity shop with this lady and in conversation l told her l did family search as a hobby and she told me her fathers father died about six weeks after he was born and that her grandmother remarried and she knew very little about her fathers side a cousin l think did a small tree for her but not detailed and l offered to do it for her Henry is her Gt Grandfathers brother, l am sorry l cannot give you her name without her consent.

If Henry is her great-grandfather's brother, who is her great-grandfather?

If you have Henry Thomas (back from Canada or never gone) with a wife Emily and children on a census, then a birth certificate for one of the youngest children will have Emily's maiden name.

Hi Chempat, Her gt Grandfather is George William Best b.1856 parents William and Elizabeth , William is an Organ Builder which l thought was quite unusual it the first time l have come across it.

I can see 2 (!) George William Bests in 1881 census (birth about 1857)  both are furriers, which would fit with Henry being a furrier.
