Hi,

Can someone tell me the date when the census was taken for 1871 Culross, Ontario please  ???

I'm sure my relative is on it but he's also on the Scottish 1871 census taken 2/3 April although I do know he went to Canada where he remarried & died.

Thanks Sandra,

 ??? ???

That makes things easier as he only got married in Scotland July 1871 so can't be the same person although same job Blacksmith, age pretty near & although the Canadian one was born Scotland the Scottish one has his actual birth place as South Uist.........................

Thought he'd done a runner after marrying as he was remarried in Canada 1880  ::)
