Anyone managed to get Adobe Reader set up as the default PDF reader?
Clicking on my collection of PDF I get some unknown software being used as default, tried resetting to Adobe but not included in the drop down list.
Adobe I know is installed as I can open it up.

Mine arrived smoothly yesterday.  However (inevitably a however??) my Canon printer doesn't print because Canon haven't yet determined whether W 10 is compatible so no driver yet.  Not Microsoft's fault of course.

Brian - try putting in Set defaults programs into the search box then click next boxes as appropriate.

Initially I opened a picture which as I said earlier 'didn't use Acrobat DC', checked preferred app which was set to dc then after doing a reboot appears now o'k.

Max - We've got a Canon printer and I can print from Windows 10, I didn't do anything just downloaded Windows 10 and everything worked exactly as it did with Windows 8.1.

Perhaps you've upgraded from Windows 7?

At least I can now transfer photos from my 'phone to laptop using something called One Drive.  Perhaps I could do that with Windows 8.1 and just never noticed.  I know Microsoft intend Windows 10 to be used with all platforms, PCs, 'phones, etc. and for you to be able to link them all together, but I must say I was surprised when I clicked on One Drive to make a connection with my 'phone (so that I could transfer photos easily) and it instantly picked up the make and model of my 'phone, despite the 'phone being in a different room and turned off - spooky really.

I also found that photos I have stored on my laptop opened in a different way with the "new" photos app.  I don't like it as all the photos were shown in the centre of a large black square.  I've found that once opened there is a way of changing how they open, so I can now open them in Irfanview instead.  Only problem is I can't see how I can now change back if I want to.  ::)
