Who was with him in 1871 and 1891? Have you located them in 1881?
In other words, is it just that he wasnt with the family, or are the whole family evading you?

I see several George Palmers of righgt age in 1871. Can you specifiy which one is your one?
The most obvious one has tiny children who would still be depemdent in 1881, so if that is him have you found them in 1881?

George was widowed & all his children where married by 1881 except his youngest child Myra who was living with her sister. I have found all children. H e was a fitter by trade.

Here is Myra in 1881 then.  Big age gap.  As Myra wasnt born in 1871, I still havent pinpointed the family in 1871 from the info in your replies!

Out of interest (and to build up a wider picture of this family in order to help try and find George), here is Harriett with two more sisters, in 1891. Unmarried sisters. So all his children were not married by 1881.

1891
22 Brigham Terrace, Myton, Yorkshire
Harriett Snowden  37 widow laundress bn Boston Lincs
Maud 11
Ethel P 8
Harriet A 4
Gertrude 1.    Snowden Children all bn Hull
Elizabeth Palmer 29 sister unm bn Boston Lincs
Charlotte Palmer 23  sister unm bn Boston Lincs

So Elizabeth and Charlotte would only be 19 and 13 , and single, in the elusive 1881.

Using what I have found in my last couple of posts, I have found the 1871 census I was asking about.
And yes it is the family with the small children I referred to!

1871
Maddisons Row, Boston
George Palmer 40 engine fitter bn Lincolnshire
Mary A 38 bn Boston
William 16
Henrietta 14
George 12
Elizabeth 9
Harry 8
Tom 5
Charlotte 3
John 1

So, going back to my question - have e these children ben found in 1881, especially the youngest?
They cannot be married by then!
