Uber Newbie question - Certificates, how to view them before purchase

I know I can send of the two codes to get a copy of a certificate - costing around £9 ?

BUT, is there a way of viewing certificates before you buy ? To make sure they are the right ones !

Unfortunately the answer is no.

When you apply you can, I believe, state that you only want it if it meets certain criteria eg the father was John Brown. However, that could stop you getting the right certificate if John Brown was down as John P Brown.

Or London marriages that occured in a church,rather than a register office.

Try us and maybe one of us has access to the parish records that you need.

Some baptisms are online too- not many,but you never know.
