Hello all,
My father Captain John W. H. Bennett RN spent a period in the latter days of his Naval career in Washington DC at HMS Saker (Nato) from 8th Oct 1962 - 25th Oct 1961. I was 2 and a half when we went out on the original Queen Mary. I would like to ultimately find reference to an address that we lived at in Washington. I have a vague recollection it was Massachusetts Avenue.
Can anyone suggest a way of finding out, maybe through paperwork somewhere in USA, or point me in the right direction?
