Email notifications

I know this topic isn't new and I've read and re-read the guidance and other posts on the subject but despite doing everything correctly (as far as I know) notification emails stopped a little while ago and haven't restarted.
My email notification account settings are:
Receive newsletters..... tick
Turn email notification.......tick
Notify....instantly
Notify....replies (etc)
All the above saved (I've unticked, reticked and saved to be sure).
The long list of posts I should be getting emails for then follows (I've been at this for a bit now and this hasn't always been the case.
The emails are not going into my junk folder and mu email address hasn't changed.
I know I can look at "New Replies" but would prefer a dig.

Yes, presumably I change the address in my profile?

Later - about to change email address, give it a bit and then please reply and we'll se.

Changed and the system worked.  I got an instant notification of your last post to the new email address so all is well.  Bit of a puzzle why it doesn't work on the other, not worth pursuing ?

now you know it works, you could try changing it back.

If it doesn't work, are you happy with the new address?

If it doesn't work I could ask Trystan to get his spanner out of the tool box and have a look.
