Death Entry

Hi All,
I hope that someone maybe able to help.
My husbands great grandmother Eliza Jane Loveday Nee Hancock she was born 13th December 1869, Morriston, Swansea and married Thomas Loveday 12th December 1896, She lived in Port Talbot with her Husband and had three children Thomas Henry Hancock Loveday, Ellen Loveday and William John Loveday he died in 1901 as a baby. Thomas Loveday died in 1912.
The problem i have is i cannot find her death,
I know Eliza Jane was still alive in 1940 and probably living with her daughter Ellen in Margam, Port Talbot. I have been told that she may have gone onto Park Hospital, Bridgend but if she had died there i cannot find a registration of her death in Bridgend, i did even try Elizabeth Jane just in case she was registered under that name.
Can anyone please give any suggestions of how i can locate her death

Hi All, I have just heard back from the Bridgend Registry office where the death entry for Elizabeth Loveday was registered

she died in 1956 aged 88 and lived in Blaengarw, there is no maiden name on the entry and she past away in the General hospital Bridgend.

Do you think that this could be our Eliza Jane Loveday Nee Hancock? only as far as i know she never lived in Blaengarw

Who was the informant (or was it the hospital)?

Where were her husband and baby son buried?
Is there a chance she could be buried with them?
Trying a different approach via burials could give you a time frame to search for a death certificate?

it says Eliza Jane Loveday of Aberavon?
