George Ross Stonehouse of Toronto

Looking for information on George Ross Stonehouse (1889-1959) s/o William Stonehouse and Elizabeth Blake married Annie Farrow (1890 - 1964) d/o Thomas & Nancy Farrow in Toronto on 14 Aug 1914.  They had the following children: Eileen M. (1916), George (1918), Audrey V. (1921), Margaret (1923 - 1954), and Lloyd (>1923 ?).  Hoping to find a descendant of this family.  The family lived in Toronto on Battavia Ave for many years. George and Annie Stonehouse are buried at Park Lawn Cemetery.

The family appear on the 1921 census at the 21 Raybould Avenue address.

Thanks dbreez and Sandra for your postings.  The Kodak company employed many in the family.  George Ross Stonehouse (1889-1959) is the ancestor I am most interested in, he married Annie Farrow. All information on this family is appreciated.

Harris Oliver (Ed) Stonehouse died on July 30 1972.  Former employee of Canadian Kodak Co.  Husband of the late Alice Maude June.  Brother of Mrs Violet Wiggins and Milton.  Interment Park Lawn.

Hi,

Annie's obit in the Star doesn't mention any grandchildren by name.  She died at her home, 18 Batavia Avenue, on Oct 21, 1964.  Wife of the late George Ross Stonehouse and mother of Eileen (Mrs C Motton), Ross, Lloyd and the late Bernice (Mrs W.L. Ferguson).  Interment Park Lawn.

George Ross's obit mentions wife Annie Farrow and the same children.  He died at the Toronto Western Hospital on July JUNE 5, 1959. (Sorry, wrote it wrong )

Eileen Maude Motton died in Mississauga on Dec 18, 2007.  She was in her 92nd year.  Wife of the late Charles Motton.  Mother of W and his wife G, and J Supino and her husband P.  Grandchildren and great grandchildren are named.
