Louisa would appear to be quite a feisty woman!

This is a report from the Western Times (29 Apr 1881 - Teignmouth section). Frogmore Street was where the Newberrys were living in the 1881 census.

I didn't get very far with he Pugsleys. In 1854 William Pugsley, 21, joiner, s William P, gardener, married Louisa Howard, 25, d William H, gardener. Both father Williams were married to Marys, but I can't see any obvious connection yet.

Richard

The 1881 census shows that Louisa's mother, Mary Ann, was born in Weston-Super-Mare, the same place as Louisa Pugsley.
Mary Ann married John Newbury in 1842 in Bristol as Mary Ann Howard, daughter of William Howard, so she and Louisa Pugsley were sisters, which means that Louisa Pugsley was Ella Newbury's great-aunt. They are all in the 1841 census in Weston-Super-Mare.

Do we know when Louisa died?

Well done for the Pugsley link Richard.

There was a possible death for Louisa I think in 1925 but depends what surname she was using.  That was Knight and far as we know she was really Wilson if she never married Knight.  Will have a look under Wilson.

Closest is 1934 Kettering age 80.

There are some private family trees which may have more information.
Hinchliffe - Huddersfield Wiltshire
Burroughs - Arlingham Glos
Pick - Frocester Glos

you guys are amazing how on earth did you find out someone was in prison i'm such a novice.  I have a wedding certificate for William Saby Knight and Ella Louisa Newberry father listed as John Newberry Railway foreman but I think this was her grandfather Louisa's Dad. Wedding took place 11th August 1914.
