I am looking for birth records for the children of James Thomson (born Avondale Parish, Lanarkshire) and Margaret McLaughlan who were married in Glasgow in 1820. We think the children were born in the years shown.

place: Barony, Glasgow

Births of children to James Thomson & Marjory (Margaret) McLachlan:

Anne  born:8 June 1819  baptised: 13 June 1819
Helen born: 9 July 1828  baptised: 13 July 1828
Henry born: 11 August 1832  baptised: 19 August 1832
Henry born: 2 Nov 1834  baptised:9 Nov 1834
*all were baptised in St. Andrew's, Glasgow

Hello Kim
That certainly is the date I have for the marriage for James and Margaret. I have found in the 1841 census the children I have listed but have never been able to find an actual birth record for them.
I found the birth for James in 1799 and it seems very unlikely that his children were not recorded.
Thanks for your help but I'm not sure if  those names you sent are mine but who can be sure.
James remarried in 1835. I think Margaret died in 1834.
