Ellen Maria Chipperfield

Hi all,
I'm struggling to find Ellen Maria Chipperfield on any census before 1911. She was born in 1868 in Shoreditch (although it states St Lukes on the 1911 census) She married Charles H Turner (born 1872, Dover, Kent) in 1892 which states her fathers name was Thomas. This is all the information I have

I had seen the Ellen as the servant at the Simpson family, but wasnt sure if it was her as there is another Ellen M Chipperfield (father James i think) born St Lukes

The Workhouse entry is definetly something I can work from, Thanks alot

1881 census Ellen Chipperfield 14 and Elizabeth Chipperfield 13 in Holborn Union Industrial Schools Mitcham Surrey. Born St Luke's and stated as being scholars

Possible 1871 but says her fathers name is James Chipperfield and her mother is Mary Ann

I too am struggling with Ellen Maria Chipperfield. She would have been my second great grandmother and my grandma left a note explaining that Ellen  was a direct Chipperfield descendant and that Ellen and her sister were walking down the street one day and saw a man through a window in what she described as maybe a old peoples home and that man turned out to be their father ( who I guess is Thomas) going by marriage certificate. They took him home to live with them but struggling to find this in any census so far . She also said Thomas had run away from fairground life as he did not like it so wondering if Ellen may have been born abroad ? Any help greatfully received .

Ellen M Chipperfield June 1866 Shoreditch mmn Burrowson
Charles James 1863 and Elizabeth Mary Ann 1868 St Luke.
It would look like the family taken into care 1872 when Ellen was 5 and Elizabeth 2
Would they have remembered their Dad's Christian name? There was an older brother Thomas ,could she have mistaken his name on the marriage cert or the Vicar have got it wrong?

Mary Ann Chipperfield Died Dec 1871 Holborn born 1837. So it was Mom who died.

It looks like them but I can't see a marriage to Elizabeth or a second one to Mary Ann.They could be the same woman though if she had the name of the youngest daughter Elizabeth Mary Ann.
