There is also a Canadian Immigrant record 1901 for Alice Yorke.
Source -  Women (and others) brought to Canada by the United British Women's Emigration Association.
Till can't see her though.  :-\

Hi Sandra

I've just been googling them. Their records are held by the London School of Economics - doesn't explain why she can't be found leaving UK or arriving Canada ( or US ) though !

Hi,

Perhaps an index only as according to this website, "no registers or records of individual emigrants or sailings survive in these archives"

Cheers,

Thanks to you all. We do have the marriage and census for 1911, 1816 and 1921 and the cemetery.
Because Alice is not found in the 1901 census in England or Canada it is possible she may have been ' in transit' at the time. She is inconsistent in the census with year of immigration. Actually we haven't pinned down William Mackay CARRIE either in passenger lists.

Afraid it doesn't look like the Alice poster was looking for - another one to discount  ;)

Detroit Border Crossing arriving 23 October 1913  - Alis York born 1888 Parry Sound Ontario.
Father Robert Adam.
The border crossing to Canada refers to the same lady and her daughter.
