I was looking at another thread today & there's a Passenger List "S. S. Grampian" 27 March 1909 going to Boston, Massachussetts with (passenger no. eight) John Bennett & wife Mary, giving nearest relative's name as.......

Angus McDougall of Dunolly Cottage, Tarbert, Loch Fyne

I wonder if this Angus could be a relative of yours

Hi Mary,

The details for 1901 were from FindMyPast.

There are usually other no.'s included in the ref. but not for this one 

I searched SP with all different ................it's not there  i.e. I have sent a message to say I can't find it on their site & where else could FindMyPast have found the details 

They respond quite quickly so will let you know the outcome 

There's an entry for..........

Malcolm McDougall (soundex) using (Age Range) 60 (in both boxes) with "Second person forename option" Mary.
Argyll only as I don't know what it's under but certainly none of the areas it should be so may be an error on SP Index

Hi Mary,

I received a lovely message back earlier today from SP 

Mary is listed as "age 1" on the Index !!! but will be corrected ASAP although the Lady can't say exactly when for sure but I have to email her back
