National Archives webinar-Missing from the Census
« on: Tuesday 25 August 15 22:03 BST (UK) »
Did anyone watch the webinar that the National Archives hosted today? Unfortunately I didn't figure out the time correctly (US vs UK) and I have missed it. I was wondering if anyone picked up any new tips. I have a few people that I know are in London but cannot find them anywhere. Thanks for considering my question!

Hi Alison

I can't help with the contents but keep an eye out for them online through the archive media player

With regards to 'missing in London' start a new topic on the London & Middlesex look-up board and we'll have a go at finding them for you.

http://www.rootschat.com/forum/london-middlesex-lookup-requests/

reasons include mis-transcriptions, enumerators errors, missing census pieces that haven't survived, being in an institution and enumerated by initial only.

Thanks so much Dawn! I didn't realize that they had a list of other ones online. There are a few interesting ones that might make up for the one that I missed until they post it (if the do) :) I will post my question too. Thanks again!
