Nearest match on FreeBMD is Mary Ann Lacey born 1867 in Cookham. There is a Mary Ann Lacey age 4 living in The Pound, Cookham in the 1871 census (Ancestry). Parents are Robert Lacey age 37 and Elizabeth age 44 both born Cookham and she has an elder sister Emma age 7, also born Cookham.

1881 Mary Ann Lacey born c 1867 Cookham is a Servant with William/Elizabeth Hatch.
William is a Fruiterer.

1861 in Coookham we have;

Elizabeth Lacey, 35

Edward Searles, 11
Elizabeth Searles, 9
Abraham Searles, 6
George Lacey, 7/12

Searles Children are down as Step Children. So Elizabeth was a Widow when marrying Robert 1859.

Is Isaac Allen the same as George Allen on the 1901 census?

It was her maiden name.she became Mary ann Allen. But died in the 1930s 10 years before I came along .my mother was in mid 40s .
It's so hard not having an older generation to ask !

Yes G.W.Lacey was born out of wedlock. Mary,ann then married my G/father Issac Allen &  had my mother Sara,Jane Allen who married George Jones my father .he died when I was 3 y/old
