Moyles Family information

Hi, I'm looking for some information regarding the moyles family -In particular a  Thomas Moyles born Jan 11th 1909 County Mayo possibly ballina?  - We think died sometime in last quarter of 1972 - He Lived either on or around halton moor area of Leeds?? we believe he was married in the 1930's to a Norah Doherty who passed away in 1947. Looking at the records available his death was registered in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. He was catholic and we have tried to find trace at killingbeck cemetery but they don't have any record of him there. Anyone suggest where's best to look for any information?

Hi..thanks for the reply I've managed to confirm his death was in last quarter of 1972, but no trace of final resting place? any idea on finding out where his burial place would be? or where to start looking? or if he was possibly cremated? we know he was catholic and presumed killingbeck cemetery would be his final resting place but having contacted they have no record.

Not your Thomas Moyles as his aged is 35 so dob c1876 but 1911 census birth place Ballina:

no don't think theres a connection with that Thomas moyles....... in your previous message The marriage to norah Doherty is correct...possibly had a son called kevin I believe born in 1942 in leeds but cannot trace anything back on either the moyles side or Doherty side. ive search the irish achieves looking for a birth on the 1911 cencus for Thomas moyles but nothing that would make him the correct age - if he was born jan 11th 1909 that would make him 2 on the census??

Long shot but you might try the local papers of the area to see if there was a death notice. They usually have details of funerals and final resting place. Sorry Good Luck
