I now have a photo of an Aunty Edith E Allen when she married Charles E Grimes. Apart from their wedding I have been unable to find any details of him. I also have a photo of them together .He is in Army uniform which looks like The Royal Berks regiment ??
Anyone out there with any ideas Please

They married December qtr 1922 Reading registration district.  Do you have the marriage certificate as it should give his fathers name and maybe his age

I BELIEVE I have but away from home until next week.
I never knew him .but was brought up by his wife my Aunty Edith & my widow mother ,her sister.
So Charles E Grimes would have died before I came on the scene in 1944.
Thanks for the help. I'm just starting !!

The marriage transcript is on FindMyPast.
His full name was Charles Edward GRIMES,bachelor occ:labourer,age 31. Father:William-occ:labourer.

It looks as though he's probably the one born in Wisbech 1892??
