Hi and a warm welcome to Rootschat.

What is the source of this death? If a burial record, then in what parish within Essex did it take place? Is there an age at burial for him.?

What else do you know about him? Was he a married manm, if so where and when did he marry? Did he have children if so where and when were they christened?

A lot could have happened between his birth and his death, so you need to go one step at a time. It iwill be impossible to leap straight to finding his birth when all we have is a death date, with no age or area beyond that of a county, where he was when he died.
Edmonds/Edmunds - mainly Sussex
DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

Hi

Welcome to rootschat  :)

Is it the John Shuttlewood who was buried at Stebbing, Essex according to the National burial index.  :-\  Unfortunately the index does not give an age for him so we can't establish when he was born.
