Well found CoL and JM

Looks to me like the barque Undaunted arrived Geelong, August 7 1853 from London, 124? days out. Among the Cabin passengers:
Mr and Mrs PRINCE, John PRINCE, Mary PRINCE

Judith

DYER - Wilts, London, Somerset, MIDLANE - Hants, Wilts, SONE - Hants, WRIGHT - London, Hants, SEAGER - Deptford, DWYER, FERGUSON - Victoria, MASON - Woodford Vic, BALLARD - South Wales, GOULDBY - Lowestoft

This all adds up and makes sense. Thanks to everyone who assisted. I had looked on the Victorian shipping records, but obviously not closely enough. Interestingly, the newspaper report quite clearly shows a John Prince (Mary's brother??), but his name is not on the list PROV list.
I will do some more searching of the BDM records to see if there is any other confirming evidence.
Thanks again. Brendan

This looks like Mary and her father in 1851

Handley, Cheshire
William PRINCE   50,widower, relieving officer (?), b Cheshire - can't read the town/village Gothan???
Mary PRINCE   25, dau, b Hatton, Cheshire
Ann Leach   23, servant
John Tickle   12 servant

Her christening was possibly at Hargrave, Cheshire, 8 Feb 1823

Possibly William in 1841
This seems to be a place called Golbourn Bellows, near Tattenhall,  which seems to fit with the birthplace of William as shown in 1851 census
Wm PRINCE 74?, farmer
Samuel 24  (no surname or occupation given for this person but he is bracketed together with the two Williams and is shown in 1851 with the surname PRINCE and the older William is with him)
Wm PRINCE 40, Re***'g? Officer
Mary Fisher   35, servant
George Johnson   15, servant

No mention of Mary.

Perhaps the newsreporter made an error with his report as there were only seven passengers on the manifest of the UNDAUNTED.  Perhaps it was a Mr John PRINCE and his wife and it is possible that the Miss PRINCE was a relative.  Miss PRINCE was an adult.

Who were the witnesses at Mary's marriage in 1855?

I strongly suspect this is her death. The UK records show a christening in Feb 1823 so possibly her birth was in late 1822. Another source (can't remember where) gave the exact date of her death as Sep 7 1906 which fits with her age at death being shown as 83Y.

Hi

There is another death that would be worth looking at

William Prince. Age 66 Death Place Victoria, father William Prince, mother Elizabeth Dunn
Registration Year:   1866 Registration Place:   Victoria Registration Number:   4523

There is a marriage between a William Prince & Elizabeth Dunn in Tattenhall, Cheshire
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F32B-558
They had a son John christened 24 Apr 1796
https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:F7P6-DJW
and this could be William Prince (father of Mary)
