hello, is it worth contacting people with very old posts? asking a daft question as you have to post two messages before you can contact!

Always worth a try, nothing ventured - nothing gained!  Just post two more "hello" messages here and have a go!  Just a Hello will do it to get your 2 more posts up,  send a PM, and if the original poster is active and still has the same email address, they should get a notification of your PM. :)
