Mary/May Waters. Where is she?

Seeking help to locate Mary/May Waters. The only real evidence I have is the 1851 census, where she is the 14 year old niece of Thomas Catt. She was born in Horsmonden Kent. The census is in Salehurst, Sussex, which appears to be just over the county border. I have seen that Thomas has a daughter Elizabeth, who was aged 25 in the 1841 census, which looks to be at Harnet Green in Sussex. A G*** tree shows that Elizabeth married a Thomas Waters, but I have not been able to locate a marriage for them, nor a baptism for Mary/May.

Any assistance would be gratefully received. If I am looking in the wrong place, I would appreciate the guidance of where I should be looking.

Have you discounted the Mary Waters living with this family in 1841 living in Horsemonden. She is not with the family in 1851? A tree on Anc lists the mother as Elizabeth Catt and her father as Thomas Catt.  As you say I can't see a baptism for Mary

Edit - In the 1851 census both Joseph and Elizabeth were listed as born in Salehurst Sussex and Family Search has the possible marriage in Salehurst in 1829  https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:KFP9-CGJ
