I'm having trouble finding the marriage between Robert Appleby and Sarah

Hi I wonder if someone could help me I'm having trouble finding the marriage between Robert Appleby and Sarah Appleby. I'm not sure of Sarah's maiden name. I have them on the 1881 census and 1901. Thanks

Have you found them on the 1911 which should give the amount of years they have been married?

Thanks this is definately her I have found them on the 1911 census.
I have found Sarah Hannah Pitt on the 1871 census along with her mother Hannah Pitt, but there isn't a husband listed would this suggest that she had the children out of wedlock? Thanks sarah.

Looking at the 1871 Hannah Pitt is recorded as widow, have you tried looking for the family on the 1861 to see if Hannah's husband is with them?
