This could be the birth that was referred to on those trees - George McLeod - 19 January 1863 Peterculter Aberdeen Scotland.  ???

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XY1H-WYX

The US Social Security and Claims index also gives 19 January 1863 Aberdeen.

The birth for Margaret McLeod was recorded 29 August 1860 Peterculter Aberdeen Scotland.  The 1861 Scotland census was taken on 8 th April so perhaps that census would only show George and Ann McLeod  ???
