tracing marriage or people Ireland
« on: Saturday 19 September 15 08:18 BST (UK) »
Hi, I think i posted in wrong spot earlier!
Have traced to Patrick Kelly (1790-1882) married Marg.Scully (1816-1891) in Cork I think, but can't find record and son Michael married a Mary Ann McIntyre in India (army) whose father was widower John McIntyre but can't trace either or find birth information on either.
And sorry, but where can we search for early Australians, a John Smith married a Jane Webb in 1869 (i've sent for a couple of death notices but will have to wait to see if related).
Thank you all so much
Meredith

The first place to look for a Cork marriage/ baptism  is here http://churchrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/
I had a quick look but didn't see anything
If they are RC you can look at the parish registers here http://registers.nli.ie/
A lot of parishes to trawl through.
Have you an idea of when Michael was born or any siblings and if he was born in Cork?
