Is Ancestry and Rootschat Slower Today ? Completed
« on: Sunday 20 September 15 12:50 BST (UK) »
Ancestry seems to be on a go slow for me loading pages, anyone else notice the same ?
Coincidentally this site working slower than normal for me today ?  Taking me ages to swop pages for some reason. That little circle is still going round as I type ?  Even had to change screen because I didn't have a button to "post"  Just wondering if anyone else is the same or is it gremlins my end  ::)

Thanks
Sandra

Both have just got amazingly better in the last 15 mins - seem to be normal now.

Thanks for checking.

Hard to understand. Strange.
I am Australian, from all the lands I come (my ancestors, at least!)

Pine/Pyne, Dowdeswell, Kempster, Sando/Sandoe/Sandow, Nancarrow, Hounslow, Youatt, Richardson, Jarmyn, Oxlade, Coad, Kelsey, Crampton, Lindner, Pittaway, and too many others to name.
Devon, Dorset, Gloucs, Cornwall, Warwickshire, Bucks, Oxfordshire, Wilts, Germany, Sweden, and of course London, to name a few.

Yes, your probably right Rosie.  ;D  Had a slight hiccup with the broadband connection playing up earlier as well. Hope your having a good day  ;) Problem seems to be sorted.

Thanks
Sandra  ;)

Rootschat has been OK for me, but many other sites have been really slow.

Something I found out is that at 1.15 am UK time = 10.15 Aussie (AESDT) time RootsChat can go very slow, usually OK again by around 1.35 am UK and 10 35 am AESDT, I'm told that this is the time maintenance etc can be carried out.
Concentrating currently on:
Essex: Card, Harris, Stowell, Theobald/Tibbles & Turner.
Norfolk: Beale, Cork & Dalton.
Yorkshire: Oswald Sturdy birth/baptism c1708, Oswald where the devil are you?
