Other children with mothers mn McGill - Thomas, William & James

Those with McGill as MMN on Lancsbmd are
Thomas 1862
William 1864
Jemima 1866
James 1872

There is this marriage  :-\
MCGILL   Ann   
FULLER   John Phillips
Manchester Cathedral (formerly Manchester Collegiate Church)   

The marriage cert says that John Phillips Fuller is a warehouseman and no fathers name is mentioned.
Ann McGills father is Peter McGill occ Gas Maker
They are both 23

I'm really confused now!!  Jemima was born in July 1866 in Manchester that's right but I have her mother has Ann Gallager unless that is another name if she had been widowed.

I assume you have Jemima's birth certificate.  What information does it give

The 1871 Census looks like the right one.  I have them living at 34 Lower Tebbutt St, Strangeways, Manchester on 1881 Census and later with daughter Jemima and her husband John Edward in 1901

Do you mean the birth cert.  :-\  Where does the information that her maiden name was Gallagher come from.

It looks as though the James bn c1872 died the same year. :'(

I'm afraid it came from another family member who had been researching! :-[  Ann Gallagher born 1837 Bolton married John Phillips June 1862 in Accrington and the family were definitely called Phillips
