Judy & Carolyn, thank you for the opinion on the basket sitting on the chair.

This woman has 3 living granddaughters. Only the eldest is of an age to have remembered Ann before she died. I'm taking a day trip to go see her today & I know she will be delighted with the excellent work you have done.

As I'll be away on my visit for about 12 hours, please forgive my tardy recognition of any new restorations that are posted today. I'll check back in as soon as I get home.

Good evening to all. Wow! There are some lovely new restorations. Thank you.

Nice to see you again Carol/Treetotal. Your sepia rendition has a luscious softness. I can't properly describe it, except to say it makes me want to settle into the chair with a good book while Ann plays with a toy.

Maggie, you've captured a slightly stubborn/opinionated face. It looks quite possible given the photos I've seen when Ann is older. The one on the textured canvas has a richness that I like.

My mother-in-law was 8 when her grandmother, Ann, died. She doesn't remember too much about her except that she was exceptionally tiny & fine boned & very much the strong-willed family matriarch.
