Has anyone got any connection to the marriage of James Simpson and Hannah Cleasby married May 1779 Kendal Westmorland I am looking for Ancestors or descendants anything you may think of would be appreciated are they in your family tree? help

I have only today found a Simpson link to Morland in Westmorland in my own family but I havent a lot more info than that.
Do you have any Abrahams or Josephs in your tree?

Hi Perdy, I've got Simpsons from Westmorland but not far enough back yet, to be of much help to you.  I've got Isaac S, born abt 1855 in Morland (married to Agnes).  Father, Henry S born abt 1827 in Newby (married to Mary A Simpson).  Have you been on the Hughwallis IGI?  347 Simpsons listed for Westmorland - various spellings.
