Lavinia isn't with the Major family in 1891.

That's good Josey, so they weren't split up.

Thank you Josey - at least they were all together... They did have four Uncles ... in Northampton!!! makes me wonder why they weren't available to help!!  cos the family did seem to help each other out.

And Yes Groom that is Lavernia and it lead to her in the 1871 being called Lannie with the same family...

Brilliant.. thanks all -----  getting there.

In case that death turns out to be her, here are the details

LAVINIA  PATRICK
Gender   Female
Age   36   Birth year   1847  (bit too early maybe?)
Burial date   09 Oct 1883
Rostherne Cheshire

The good news is, that as far as I can see there isn't another Lavinia Patrick in Cheshire in the 1881 census.

It could well be her,   she would hardly know her birth date for sure :)  but why would she have gone from Bristol to Cheshire, ???

Maybe for another job or a fella.... uhhm

Going to review the newspapers to see if any info around  - and sort Sophia and Sarah out.. I have most on George so that's good.

As a by the way, Why am I sitting indoors on a beautiful day like today!?  -- well I was waiting for a visitor that cancelled.. that's my excuse..
