Gaff's Land

Ive looked at maps and cant see it anywhere. On my great grandmothers wedding certificate it lists her address as Gafflands , Redding , Polmont.
Was out of curiosity more than anything to see where it was , if anybody could help would be appreciated.

Here are two links you may find helpful.  The first one relates to a James Gaff, Redding,  Polmont, and refers to family land as Gafflands, near Falkirk, and other references to Redding and Polmont that may well be helpful for you.

its only from 1932 so not that old , thanks for those links i did read the forum post but nothing there unfortunately , other was interesting but im even further curious to know what houses they built lol

ive asked my grandfather who was only born 3 years after , in 1935 but he has no idea and he comes from brightons.
Is it possible the Gaff family built these houses and my great gran rented one?

Shame it's 1932, so no census available yet!  As you say though, very possibly be a tenant of the Gaff Family.

It may be beneficial for you to contact the Rootschat Member who submitted the other info re the Gaff Family, and has a great deal of many types of info on his website!  Either add something to his existing thread, (the Rootschat link in my previous post) or once you have posted 3 times, you can send him a Private Message from that thread!
