How would I go about getting Marriage Cert. details? Also what cost would be involved?

Thankyou all for info and help. It has helped fill a couple of gaps. The other issue is finding Richard Tolson leaving England and arriving Australia as the only date I have is 1916. Have been told he was helping to bring a boat out. I know he was definetly here in 1917 when the family arrived. Also to find his mothers correct name. If it is Sarah I still don't have a last name. Regards Helbar

The Elsie in the 1891 census that I have found you would be born c.1885/6 mother Ellen, right area Chadwell St Mary is next to Grays Essex, why do you say they are the wrong people.

Maybe I am confused. The Elsie I am searching -  I know her father was Alfred Knight so her mother could be Elsie or Ellen but would have a different maiden name I would think. She would become Knight when she married. The one you mention became Hampshire? Regards Helbar

In the 1891 census posted above it states that Ellen Knight was born in Romsey not that anyone married someone called Romsey, so it is possible that it is your Elsie's family. The father is not listed so is presumably elsewhere working.

I am a bit unsure as to whether you needed the death of Richard or not.

TOLSON  Richard William
Father Richard
Mother Sarah  UNKNOWN
Death Place HAST
Age 91
Year  1976
Reg  18013

A series of Electoral Roll details are available for the couple, Elsie and Richard TOLSON, but you may not be requiring them.
