Interestingly there is a border crossing Canada to the USA showing both William Caldwell and brother Horace Caldwell born 1868 and aged 34 years. Liverpool England to Quebec 24 September 1902 on the Lake Simcoe. William (professor) was going to Chicago Illinois and Horace (single - ) to Mexico City.

For 1 credit Scotlands People showed me a death for Horace Caldwell aged 75 years - died 1942 - Rosemarkie and Fortrose.

Scotlands People is the web-site that will be most advantageous to you - you can buy 30 credits for £7-00 which will help with most of your searches for Caldwell.

Brother David Livingstone Caldwell born 1874 married Mary Gertrude Barrett 24 December 1907 - Prestwich, St Margaret Holyrood -
Brother Victor Caldwell was a visitor.
David Livingstone and Mary Gertrude are living in Manchester 1911 - due to copyright laws I cannot put a transcription here.

There is an anc tree which mentions David - the owner of that tree is a Caldwell-  descendent of Allan Caldwell who immigrated from Scotland in 1822 (approx) to Canada - so again that gives you another contact - or I can send a message on your behalf - directing them to this thread if you wish.
