Thankyou for the great information, lots of leads to follow, especially from the death notices in the newspaper. Also the last bit of info provides the birth date and place however the marriage notice in January 1945 is confusing - on ancestry there is a record (index only) Leslie J H Farquharson Perth, WA #2998  1941  - I had noticed the possible 1947 remarriage for Phyllis but again it is just an index, but the death notice for her fits .............. thanks Alison
