Hi Chris,

I admire your commitment to such phenomenal research! I wonder during your transcription of names whether you came across a grave for James B. Campbell who died in 1986 while resident apparently at New Kilpatrick. He was a son of James Campbell (1890-1950) and Mary Marcella Campbell nee Beirne (1892-19620.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hi John.

Thanks for your kind comments. I'm afraid none of the names you mention appear on any of the headstones. That's not to say hes not there, hes just not on a headstone I could transcribe.

What a mammoth project you have completed! Amazing effort!

Just wondering if you came across any members of the Brash family?

Thanks,
Lauren

Hi Chris

i've jsut started on a new branch of my family tree and have found some relatives that are (according to their obituaries) buried in Hillfoot Cemetery. I would be greatful if you could have a look at your data for me. I am loooking for Thomas Crawford McLean who died in 1943.

Hi CT

Apologies for the delay I have been unwell for a time now. I have the headstone for Thomas but its difficult to read. Could you DM me your email address and I will send them to you? I have to take a few to get close up photos.

I am hoping you can help me find a grave site for David Currie B. 1875 d. April 21 1936, whom I believe to be buried in Hillfoot Cemetery. Your post indicates a Currie in Section 4. Thank you. Rhona Burslem.

Thank you so much for looking this up for me.... I suppose there may have been a burial without a headstone for David Currie ?
The report of the burial at Hillfoot was from his son ( my father, now deceased) so I had assumed it to be correct.
Thanks again.
