Oh thankyou, thankyou Milliepede and Ambly!! and yes, I think you've well and truly kicked the Dakins out of Lincolnshire!    Such great sleuthing Ambly - thank you so much for your time & lateral thinking on the placename - Bullbridge brings the family right back into traditional Dakin territory at least.
