I love to see their own hand writing, that's brilliant, I notice Maria signed her surname with one L.
All three lived in one room, was Luke st similar to Asylum yard ie- run down poor condition do you know.

When you look at the actual register her Mum's name IS Maria 

So, 28th July 1882 was her birthday !

1886 and there was a 39 year old Patrick McDonnell buried in Glasnevin.

Last address Townsend Street.

This is a trickier one as his Christian name is more common so I can't guarantee it's a match.

I suppose Jane isn't your blood so possibly you don't want to follow this lead.

Could certainly be her brother, how common is the name McDonnell in Ireland

It would be too old to be her brother but would be the right age to be her father.
