As you don't appear to be willing to share the name of either mother or child, then I'm not sure how we can help you.  :)   

Place of birth = Queen Charlottes + home address of St Philip de Malpas Grey Egerton as Albemarle Street, Mayfair - so?    :-\

 Alice Mary Wilson born 14th Sept 1878 mother Harriet Wilson--- tried to uploadd a copy of the birth cert but wont allow...are you on Facebook as I have a copy on there?

OK - thanks for the image.  I don't see anything particularly strange.  Alice Mary was born at Queen Charlotte's Hospital, mother H Wilson is a Housemaid and her address is given as 28b Albemarle Street.  As a Housemaid it would not be unusual for her to be "living-in".

Added:  Queen Charlotte's Hospital was a Maternity Hospital founded in 1753.  The in-patient register from 1800 is available at London Metropolitan Archives.
