My grandfather Edward Jackson was in the RAOB band in Manchester.  He used to live in Ardwick and I have a picture of the band taken I believe in Manchester in the 1920s.  Is there anyone with information on the BUFFS who could tell me which lodge he would have been in.
Regards
Pauline

Hi,

Welcome to Rootschat.  ;)

Here's a link to the RAOB website; there is a "contact us" link.  They might have some archives about the band.

Hi Nanny Jan,

Thanks for the information on the RAOB.  I have emailed them so now I will just have to wait.
