Virtually impossible as I believe he was adopted.
He went to Christian Brothers school
Does anyone know of any kind of register that may help me find him
He is deceased

Did he marry and die in Ireland, and have you got his marriage certificate?

Have you considered DNA testing?  If he was your biological father, you could test yourself and potentially find biological relatives that way.  http://dnaadoption.com/ is a helpful site on this topic.  I am an adoptee and I found my birth father's family through Ancestry DNA.
