Detail is Reg Dist Sunderland.  Sub Reg East Sunderland.  ED 3.  Household Schedule 238.  Piece 2397.  Folio 127.  Page 44.
The name is Robert Rapoll born Seidhar (should be Russell born Tudhoe)

Just to say it is Maling's Rigg as shown on this map http://www.durham-images.org/public/ms/m11/m11se5.html Maling’s Rigg is named after William Maling of Hendon Lodge, who settled in Sunderland in 1723 where he became a ship owner and timber merchant. Rigg is an old name for a ridge or furrow, or strip of plough land, a portion of land of indeterminate area. The 1777 Rate Book shows it as “Malings Ridge”,  it was later developed by William’s son John.

Thank you. it's good to find out how my ancestors lived in and around Durham. I know that some of them were Primitive Methods from Baptism Records. So probably they came to this chapel in Malings Rig

The Primitive Methodist Church was one of the Methodist Churches which united in 1932.
The Primitive Methodists were a major off-shoot of the principal stream of Methodism - the Wesleyan Methodists - in 19th Century Britain. Within the borough of Sunderland in 1858 there were six chapels, six Sunday Schools, 244 teachers, 1,275 scholars, and 786 members.
Chester Road Chapel, was in the old Infirmary Building, which was bought by the Primitive Methodist Conference in 1867, and converted into a Theological Institute. The first batch of students arrived in 1868, and it continued as a college until 1884, when it closed.
